Documenting the War Crimes perpetrated by the Syrian Regime in Hama City. 33 victims fell to this massacre, including 7 kids and 5 women. And more than 90 people were wounded.
After Al-Houla massacre, divisions of the Syrian Regime army marched north and raided the city of Hama. They were reinforced with many armoured vehicles and snipers who were already positioned on high buildings in addition to the snipers who are always positioned on the old castle.
Districts that came under fierce shelling by armoured vehicles and artillery shells which killed at least 33 people and wounded scores of people are:
Athaheryea- Masha’a Al-Arba’een- some quarters of Aleppo Road- Masha’a Al-Furousia (Janoub Al-Mal’ab)
When the residents of the abovementioned districts tried to flee, regime’s snipers targeted them, so scores of people were wounded, some of whom have critical injuries, including kids and women.
33 victims killed under the shelling have been documented, including 4 army defectors, 5 women and 7 kids.
The names of the victims who were killed on 27-05-2012 at the hands of the regime’s army and security forces in the city of Hama:

5- Husein Qissi, 50 years old, a driver, /Hama/. Security forces’ sniper shot him in the head on Al-Sina’a Square.

The Wounded:
The number of the wounded mounted to 90 at least, more than 40 of whom were wounded in Janoub Al-Mal’ab nearby Nadi Al-Furousia in Masha’a Al-Arba’een neighbourhood. At least 50 people of the wounded received medical care in the makeshift hospital, including critical injuries, most of whom are women and children.

We, the undersigned, hold the Syrian regime completely and directly responsible for the massacre and all its implications and consequences. By international law standards, this massacre is tantamount to a war crime. Hence, we demand the Security Council, the United Nations and the member states to fulfill their moral and legal responsibility by acting with utmost urgency to undertake all necessary measures for the protection of civilians in Syria. Such action should also accelerate bringing all those implicated in the massacres to stand to justice in the International Criminal Court.
