Dr. Abdul Kadir Rajah

Dr. Abdul Kadir Rajah is the field office manager at the Damascus Center for Human Rights Studies. He was born in 1981 at the province of Hama. Dr. Rajeh earned a medical degree in general Medicine in 2008. Dr. Rajeh is an activist who participated in the peaceful protests that took place in the city of Hama; he established along a group of friends a field hospital in April 2011. Due to security reason he left Syria in early 2012 and joined DCHRS as an activist and a volunteer, he attended number of trainings workshops on the concept of human rights, documentation mechanisms, and international human rights mechanisms for advocacy and lobbying. He represented DCHRS in the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva in order to advocate during the meetings held to discuss the situation in Syria by The Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Syrian Arab Republic in 06/03/2013.
