Syria: Fuel-Air Bombs Strike School, Powerful Conventional Weapon Kills at Least 12 Students in Raqqa

01-10-2013 – A Syrian government airstrike using fuel-air explosive bombs hit outside a secondary school in the opposition-held city of Raqqa on September 29, 2013, killing at least 14 civilians. At least 12 of those killed were students attending their first day of classes.

The Damascus Center for Human Rights Studies documented on Tuesday 1/10/2013 Seventy Four (74) victims who were killed in different cities across Syria, most of them fell in Daraa, Idlib, and Damascus and its suburb. Also the DCHRS documented Five (5) victims who have fallen in previous days.

Syria- One-year anniversary marked in the disappearance of ýprominent human rights lawyer Khalil Ma’touq

30/9/2013 – On 2 October 2013, the Gulf Center for Human Rights (GCHR) marks the first anniversary in the disappearance of prominent Syrian human rights lawyer Khalil Ma’touq, who was arrested together with his colleague while they were on their way to their office. His whereabouts remain unknown since his disappearance one year ago.
