According to the last survey conducted by the Syrian Network for Human Rights, at least 194,000 Syrian citizens were detained by the Syrian regime’s forces. Among the detainees were approximately 9,000 citizens under the age of 18, and 4,500 women including 800 female and 35,000 male university students

ignorance of the details of this aspect of the suffering on the other. In our view, this aspect is no less dangerous
than the humanitarian relief aspect

Tasil is located 37km to the north east of Deraa in south Syria.
The name of Tasil is of Syriac origin, Ateel, which means the Temple of the God of Sun. The temple was built on the site of the ruins of a Roman church which was replaced by al-Omari mosque. The old hans and ancient buildings are still in town.
