The area of the village is 125 hectares and its population is estimated to be 13 000. Most of its residents work in agriculture and this village is particularly famous in growing wheat, cotton, sugar beet and vegetables in addition to raising cattle.

The location of the village on the map:

http://goo.gl/maps/K527H

On Tuesday, a few civilians from the village left the mosque and when they were at the door, suddenly, a few thugs attacked them with Syrian army men who were residing at the borders in the town. They started to open fire in a random and constant manner which resulted in the deaths of 16 citizens from the village in addition to a number of injuries.

The syrian network of human rights warned that if such actions keep recurring, acts of revenge from the Syrian community could result, and the Syrian regime is responsible for this as well as the international community, which still have not tried to stop this regime from killing its people but rather allowed the regime to carry on with their murderous acts, and these massacres will hinder civil peace and living in harmony.

Through our contact with the relatives and the neighbours, we managed to confirm the names and to obtain the videos of the massacres which contain graphic and upsetting images of children crying over fathers dead bodies.

1. Mo’iad Ibrahim Al Ahmad / 49 years / Hama / Sahl AlGhab / Al Shari’a Village / Died as a result of indiscriminate shooting

2. Riyad Mahmoud AlAtrash / 38 years / Hama / Sahl AlGhab / Al Shari’a Village / Died as a result of indiscriminate shooting

3.
