{"id":754,"date":"2012-07-24T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-07-24T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","slug":"","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dchrs.org\/?p=754","title":{"rendered":"SNHR &#038; DCHRS | Violation Report | Monday, 23 July, 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Syrian Network for Human Rights &#038; Damascus Centre for Human Rights Studies Violation Report for Monday, 23 July, 2012<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Casualties  and wounded: <\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  <strong><u>Damascus  | Barzeh<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\nThe  indiscriminate bombardment carried out by the regimes\u2019 forces has led to the  death of many citizens, including Mahmoud Al-M\u2019beiyid whose corpse was charred  as a result of a missile landing on his home (Graphic):<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IIQ46C7iVpU\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IIQ46C7iVpU<\/a><br \/>\n<strong><u>Aleppo  | Al-Kseibiye<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\nMany  victims have become wounded or were killed during the indiscriminate  bombardment carried out by regime forces, such as Mohammad Emad whose distorted  corpse can be seen in the following video (Graphic):<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NnF7P0WrvpI\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NnF7P0WrvpI<\/a><br \/>\n<strong><u>Hama  | Al-Latamna<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\nThe  following video shows the corpse of Ahmad Abeidan Al-Sayyid who was tortured  and then killed by the regimes\u2019 security forces (Graphic):<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=xgl34pBXl6k\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=xgl34pBXl6k<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Assaults  and Human Rights Violations: <\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  <strong><u>Homs  | Al-Ghanto<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  The  children of Homs continue to suffer, especially in makeshift hospitals, mainly  due to the blockade imposed by regime forces on the province which has left  doctors with only the most minimal of capabilities in treating the wounded. In  addition to this, pain killers and anaesthetics are almost impossible to get,  so doctors are resorting to treating the wounded, including children, without  the use of any drugs, as shown in the following video:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=gFq9_XGVYhs\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=gFq9_XGVYhs<\/a><br \/>\n  <strong><u>Idlib  | Mir\u2019ayan<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  The case of  ill-equipped field hospitals is a common one in all provinces, as most of them  are under a blockade from all sides preventing ambulances and proper medical  equipment from entering. Doctors need to improvise in many cases in the  treatment of the wounded:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=iu496xTEuX4\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=iu496xTEuX4<\/a><br \/>\n  <strong><u>Latakia|  Kurd Hill<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  The people  living in the Kurd hill area of the suburbs of Latakia are currently in  distressful conditions with no electricity, aid or water. They resort to  cooking on fire as well as bringing water from canals using bottles and buckets  as explained by one of the citizens in the following video, who also shows some  of the rockets and shells used against them:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WD58qHDN0XU\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WD58qHDN0XU<\/a><br \/>\n  <strong><u>Aleppo  | Al-Bab<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  The wounded  in the city of Al-Bab in the province of Aleppo are now also suffering from the  poor medical conditions in makeshift hospitals mainly because of the siege  imposed on the city which is preventing the wounded from going hospitals:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WSN-9SSMKBI\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WSN-9SSMKBI<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Bombardment  and Destruction: <\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  <strong><u>Damascus  | Al-Mazzeh<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  Huge  destruction was left in the Al-Mazzeh neighbourhood in Damascus as a result of  the indiscriminate bombardment perpetrated by the regime forces; this led to  the displacement of many citizens:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YfWQ-RTvsoU\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YfWQ-RTvsoU<\/a><br \/>\n  <strong><u>Homs  | Talbiseh<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  As the  indiscriminate bombardment carried out by regime forces continues on the city  of Talbiseh. a total of at least 30% of the citizens\u2019 homes have been  completely destroyed.
