{"id":681,"date":"2012-07-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-07-01T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","slug":"","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dchrs.org\/?p=681","title":{"rendered":"SNHR &#038; DCHRS | Violations Report | Sunday, 1 July 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Syrian  Network for Human Rights (SNHR) &amp; Damascus Centre for Human Rights Studies \u00a0\u00a0(DCHRS) Violations Report Sunday, 1 July 2012 <\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Casualties  and Wounded:<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  <strong><u>Homs  | Homs<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  The three  victims\u2019 bodies have been in the street for ten days and the Red Crescent team  cannot reach the bodies because snipers populate the rooftops of Homs:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/IriQctLOyRI\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/IriQctLOyRI<\/a> <br \/>\n  <strong><u>Homs  | Al-Holeh<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  Residents  cannot treat their fellow citizens who were critically injured during a mortar  shelling attack by regime forces:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/GSwCz4G4BM8\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/GSwCz4G4BM8<\/a> <br \/>\n  Many of  them eventually die because there are no medical supplies or hospitals to take  them to:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/T-0gnlhnGu4\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/T-0gnlhnGu4<\/a> <br \/>\n  <strong><u>Deir  Ez-Zour | Deir Ez-Zour<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  Regime  forces renewed shelling attacks on the already-besieged province, and a number  of residents were wounded or killed. Regime forces have made it impossible for ambulances  or aid to get to the province due to continual shelling:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/cC_tnPZI3W8\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/cC_tnPZI3W8<\/a> <br \/>\n  <strong><u>Aleppo  | Azzaz<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  It is a  death sentence to be injured in Azzaz during shelling attacks by regime forces  on the town, as regime forces have made it impossible for Red Crescent  ambulances to reach the wounded safely and without being hit themselves. This  little girl writhing in pain is just one of the victims:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/J7MMYP8szLU\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/J7MMYP8szLU<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Assaults  and Human Rights Violations:<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  <strong><u>Homs  | Joret Ash-Shayyah<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  These  residents attempt to rescue their fellow citizens who became trapped in their  homes after the homes were severely damaged or partially destroyed during shelling  attacks:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/OC2_iJxCDc0\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/OC2_iJxCDc0<\/a> <br \/>\n  <strong><u>Damascus Suburbs | Zamalka<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  Residents were forced to bury the dead in a mass grave after  Saturday\u2019s attacks by regime forces:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/ILrfYq2lAEE\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/ILrfYq2lAEE<\/a><br \/>\n  <strong><u>Homs | Al-Wa\u2019r<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  Residents stand in 50 degree (Celsius) in long lines to buy  gasoline (fuel), which has become a rare commodity in Syria due to the regime\u2019s  price gauging:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/6-5NzMwvzmg\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/6-5NzMwvzmg<\/a> <br \/>\n  <strong><u>Hama | Kafr Zeita<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  Under-equipped and understaffed makeshift hospitals are the  only hope for treatment as regime forces continue to occupy the town and attack  innocent citizens:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/MqRQvp-ZcDc\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/MqRQvp-ZcDc<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Bombardment  and Destruction:<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  <strong><u>Homs  | Joret Ash-Shayyah<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  Smoke fills  the skies after regime forces launched an offensive on residential buildings in  Joret Ash-Shayyah in the early Sunday morning hours:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/vdOXgKKinw0\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/vdOXgKKinw0<\/a> <br \/>\n  The  continual shelling offensive caused some of the homes to catch on fire:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/_pTlFn5UvLA\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/_pTlFn5UvLA<\/a> <br \/>\n  <strong><u>Harasta  | As-Sinyata<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  Large  explosions shook the town, coupled with violent shelling of homes by regime  forces:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/YlOzqjQmR5c\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/YlOzqjQmR5c<\/a> <br \/>\n  <strong><u>Dar\u2019aa  | Khirbet Ghazala<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  Body parts  of dead residents, many of them children, litter the streets after a vicious  shelling assault on residential homes by regime forces:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/1fhNQzGxaEI\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/1fhNQzGxaEI<\/a> <br \/>\n  <strong><u>Idleb  | Aldana<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n  Many homes  were completely destroyed when regime forces shelled residential areas on  Sunday:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/yn4iad_IEM0\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/yn4iad_IEM0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><u>Syrian Network for Human Rights &#8211;
