Ahmad Hamada was born in Hama and lived in Homs, so he has the honor of these two Orontes river cities. He has learned pride from Hama and resistance from Homs. He is 27 years old. At the beginning of the revolution, he left his work in the technical services department and worked as a videographer to document war crimes and human rights abuses commissions by the Syrian regime.<\/p>\n
The least that can be said about Ahmad is that he was courageous, cultured and possessed high moral excellence where has treaded the path of death with no fear. He was the Unknown Soldier who worked behind the scenes in silence documenting by his camera massacres perpetrated by the Syrian regime against the unarmed Syrian people. He has documented at least 500 videos on the shelling of Baba Amr, the old neighborhoods of Homs and the massacres perpetrated in the neighborhoods of al-Khaldya and al-Shammas in Homs city.<\/p>\n
He was the eye that documented bloodshed, killing and suffering. He risked his life to document turning points in the history of the Syrian revolution hoping that this might revive the pity and conscience of humanity in the world.<\/p>\n
The Syrian regime security forces killed Ahmad Hamada yesterday, Saturday, 06-06-2012 while he was covering the fierce shelling targeting the old neighborhoods of Homs. Death squads killed his friend who has been trained by Abdul Hadi al-Qumaqli, so he rallied to help his friend. While he was aiding his friend, a security forces\u2019 sniper killed him.<\/p>\n
