Click here to Download PDF File<\/a><\/p>\n Victims killed by the Syrian regime as of the beginning of the Syrian revolution on 18-03-2012 to 27-06-2012.<\/a><\/p>\n 14863 civilians and 1277 military personnel have been killed by the Syrian regime. These include defected conscripts, members of the Free Syrian Army and the Syrian regime\u2019s military personnel. <\/span><\/p>\n The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) and Damascus Centre for Human Rights Studies (DCHRS) have always published confirmed death tolls which are documented by the names and videos of the victims killed by the Syrian Regime. This is done each time the death toll exceeds another one thousand killed by the regime. We last published a confirmed death toll on 16-06-2012 when the figure exceeded fifteen thousand victims killed by the Syrian regime\u2019s army troops and security forces with a daily average of one hundred victims.<\/p>\n This is the comprehensive confirmed death toll of the victims killed by the Syrian regime since the beginning of the Syrian revolution to 27-06-2012.<\/p>\n The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) and Damascus Centre for Human Rights Studies (DCHRS) observe rigorous documentation standards to verify each piece of information by seeking testimonies from two people who do not know one another before it is included in the casualties\u2019 record.<\/p>\n Please be advised to look at the attached file which is a comprehensive report of all the recorded civilian and military casualties including all the details available for each. It is worth mentioning that Syrian authorities have not allowed SNHR & DCHRS members to verify the names of the victims declared by the Syrian authorities as SNHR members have no relations whatsoever with the Syrian authorities, security apparatus and media outlets responsible for the figures and information released by the Syrian authorities and which cannot be verified at the moment.<\/p>\n Distribution of casualties on Syrian governorates is available in and documented by the attached file. It can be verified by referring to the attached PDF file: It is worth noting that more than 200 members of SNHR & DCHRS distributed on the Syrian governorates were able to document victims by full name, place and date. However, there are cases that members of SNHR & DCHRS were not able to document, particularly massacres, due to the siege of villages, towns and cities amid total communications blackout by the Syrian regime and because the Syrian regime denies access to any Human Rights organization into the Syrian lands.<\/p>\n The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) and Damascus Centre for Human Rights Studies (DCHRS) hold Bashar al-Assad, head of the state and Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian regime army, accountable for all acts of homicide, torture and massacres perpetrated in Syria as he holds the primary responsibility for issuing the orders resulting in these acts. All members of the Syrian regime and heads of security and military apparatus are considered directly complicit in these acts as well as all those involved in funding and supporting this regime which continues to perpetrate massacres against civilians on a daily basis.
