The security forces launched an attack on a civilian home and brutally killed two elder couple, the husband in his eighties and the wife is her seventies. The video shows the bodies of the two victims Ahmad Abu Essel and his wife Hameedah Annasari:<\/p>\n

\n Damascus | Al-Qassaaa\u2019<\/u><\/strong>
\n Basel Shehadah, a young man who was a cinematography student in The United States, left during his study to go back to Syria and help the revolution into transferring the revolution events to the outside world; he taught many activists. He was killed with a sniper bullet in Asafsafah, Homs. Basel was a devoted Christian who loved his country and treasured freedom that he indeed paid for it with his life:

\n Security wide spread in Al-Maidan to force merchants to discontinue their strike; the merchants in Damascus closed their shops to protest Al-Houleh Massacre in Homs:

Assaults and Human Rights Violations:<\/u><\/strong>

\n Appalling and despicable act indeed by the regime\u2019s forces in Syria, who tortured an elder man. The video shows the elder man who was captured by the security forces at a checkpoint; he is narrating how he begged and plead to them to leave him for his age and weakness… Despite his appeal and tears, the security forces used all instruments of torture on his weak body. He was narrating his story from a makeshift hospital where he was getting treated while still crying and shaking:
