After Al-Houla massacre, divisions of the Syrian Regime army marched north and raided the city of Hama. They were reinforced with many armoured vehicles and snipers who were already positioned on high buildings in addition to the snipers who are always positioned on the old castle.<\/p>\n
Districts that came under fierce shelling by armoured vehicles and artillery shells which killed at least 33 people and wounded scores of people are:<\/p>\n
Athaheryea- Masha\u2019a Al-Arba\u2019een- some quarters of Aleppo Road- Masha\u2019a Al-Furousia (Janoub Al-Mal\u2019ab)<\/p>\n
When the residents of the abovementioned districts tried to flee, regime\u2019s snipers targeted them, so scores of people were wounded, some of whom have critical injuries, including kids and women.<\/p>\n
33 victims killed under the shelling have been documented, including 4 army defectors, 5 women and 7 kids.<\/p>\n

By international law standards, this massacre is tantamount to a war crime. Hence, we demand the Security Council, the United Nations and the member states to fulfill their moral and legal responsibility by acting with utmost urgency to undertake all necessary measures for the protection of civilians in Syria. \n The number of the wounded mounted to 90 at least, more than 40 of whom were wounded in Janoub Al-Mal\u2019ab nearby Nadi Al-Furousia in Masha\u2019a Al-Arba\u2019een neighbourhood. At least 50 people of the wounded received medical care in the makeshift hospital, including critical injuries, most of whom are women and children.
