\n The Syrian Organization for Human Rights (SWASIAH) was informed that the attorney Abdul Salam AL-Atrash was detained and was severely tortured at the branch of military security in Damascus .He is suffering from a mental breakdown, and there is fear for his life.\n<\/p>\n
\nSWASIAH has also been informed that the lawyer Hussam Al-Assaad member of Bar Association (Idleb branch) was detained about a week ago, and he has been subject to terrible torture at the Military Intelligence Branch in Aleppo. According to wittiness he was skinned off several parts of his body.\n<\/p>\n
\nAt the same time the security forces and semi- Security forces raided the home of lawyer Ali Badran in Tel Rfat. As well as the houses of lawyers Joseph Horan and Mohamed Haji Abdullah in Aleppo, and were attempted to be arrested in a very humiliating manner .There names were sent to all the branches of intelligence to arrest both lawyers listed above.\n<\/p>\n
\nThe Syrian Organization for Human Rights (SWASIAH) bear the Syrian authorities for the safety of the detained lawyers, calling for all humanitarian organizations to shear their responsibilities towards all lawyers after the humiliation these lawyers above suffered in silent of the union.\n<\/p>\n
\nThe Syrian Organization for Human Rights call for Syrian authorities to release all lawyers and political detainees, and to withdraw the army from the cities, as well as to allow the Syrians the right to express their opinions as a first step to becoming a civil democratic state. A state that all Syrians are looking toward and sacrificing their lives in the process for that democratic state.\n<\/p>\n
