Some pro-regime websites have recently published filmed interrogation of Syrians convicted of “an attempt to assassinate Bashar al Assad and the FM Walid Mualem”, the footage shows “Anas Abdulhakim Husaini” admitting his participation in the plot among others in a covert cell:<\/p>\n

His family was forbidden of meeting him or doing the legal procedures to free him.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>3. Abdulrawuf Husainy: aka. Jiwan<\/strong> He was arrested in December.31,2012 by State Security, and was tortured in the branch, according to some sources his leg was brocken.<\/p>\n Since the rest of the activists were not seen in the videos we have deep concerns on their safety especially according to the information that they have been tortured<\/p>\n The regime and secret police have been always using this method of constructing a story and forcing detained politicians or activists to appear in televised interrogations as terrorists or begging for merci, we saw it done to symbolic figures in the revolution like Ahmad alBayyasi, Nawaf Ragheb al Bashir, and Hussein Harmoush, some of them were executed shortly after.<\/p>\n Accusing civilians of treason, and planning to assassinate Assad puts their life in danger and raises fears on their safety. therefore we ask all Human rights organizations, local and international entities concerned about illegal detention cases, the Syrian National Coalition and from all states in the “friends of Syrian people” group to support this case and ask for disclosing all details among which their detention place, allowing them to see their families and proceeding with the legal process to avoid any martial trials or harsh penalties.<\/p>\n Media focus on this case will be extremely important to protect the convicted activists and preventing the regime from committing other crimes against them.<\/p>\n Additional information<\/strong> The footage:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
