Mr. Mahmoud Abu-Zeed is an engineer who was born in 1976. He is a researcher, and an adviser in the international arbitration. He is a member in the freedom of assembly and association at the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights network. When the revolution began Mr Mahmoud left his job as an engineer and devoted his life for documenting human rights violations perpetrated by the Syrian Regime. From day one of the revolution Mr. Abu-Zeed began documenting the victims and he created a database with all the names sorted by provinces. Mr. Mahmoud attended many human rights conference, workshops, and trainings thus he received several human rights certificates from various local and international human rights organizations. Mr. Mahmoud is the main researcher and the Damascus Center for Human Rights Studies. He is responsible for the final outcome of the Daily Report.
